Scubadiving / Freediving
Perfectly located, we are the only Dive Center in Malongane, located 50 meters from the launch area. With more than 30 reefs, ranging from a shallow 8m to advanced dives around 50m, reaching the closest only 300m offshore. The dives will fit any level, being you an open water/advanced diver, a freediver, photographer, researcher or just someone who dives for fun.
Ocean Safari / Dolphins Tour
If not in the mood to Dive or just prefer to relax above the water, you can try our Ocean Safari and Dolphin Tour.
Bottlenose dolphins, Sharks, Manta Rays, turtles and even Humpback Whales (during their migration season) can be easily spotted along our coast. With one of our Skippers, you can encounter a variety of marine life and learn about them, in a non-intrusive interaction.
Snorkeling
Right in front of our Dive Center there are rock pools ready to be explored. They are constantly changing depending on tides and sand movements, so you can find different scenarios almost every week.
Along the coast there is a variety of coral and barrier reefs located just 1-2m deep, perfect for everyone in the family. Accessible by walking along the coast or by boat, bring your own equipment or rent at our Shop, for a great experience to remember.
Activities & Local atractions
Malongane Beach Resort is perfectly situated to allow easy access to all that Parque Nacional de Maputo has to offer.
Additionally to diving, there are several activities available in the Resort and at walking distance.

We are Integrated in Parque Nacional de Maputo (MAoputo National Park), with more than 90 km coastline, white sandy beaches and warm water with rich marine fauna.
A 45 min. drive takes you to the Park entrance, previosly Maputo Special Reserve, established in 1960 to protect the elephant population in the region. Today it counts with a population of more than 400 elephants and a good variety of wildlife.
Fishing
One of the most popular activities in Mozambique is Fishing, and in Malongane you will find excellent conditions to catch your next meal.
Malongane Beach Resort offers an easy launch area, with tractors and staff that will make things easy. Cleaning area is available in the camp, allowing you to get the job done quicker.
Being a Marine Reserve, bottom fishing is not allowed.
Water Sports
The surf tides at Ponta Malongane are great for Surfing, SUP, Kite surfing, Kayaking.
In our Water Sports Centre we offer a variety of boards and all necessary gear for you to enjoy the most of this beautiful setting.
Surf, Kitesurf and SUP lessons can be organized.

Kids Club
The Kids Club has been designed for children aged 3 to 12 years. Children can join the activities, games and enjoy the facilities available, such as the jungle gym, and a fun climbing wall.
Among the activities available are football, traditional games, puppets, treasure hunts, crafts, outdoor film sessions. All of them promise one thing: loads of fun!
